Nepal survive USA scare to register first win in league
Yesterday Nepal and the USA’s cricket teams played each other at the ICC Cricket World Cup League at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur.
While the two teams both had impressive players, the Nepali pacer Karan KC, debutant Kusha Malla and wicket-keeper batsman Binod Bhandari completely turned the game after some of their teammates were dismissed with just 49 runs on the board. Kusha Mulla became the youngest (15 years and 340 days old) to score a half-century in one-day internationals.
The team will now play against Oman on Wednesday and hope that they will again succeed against them after an 18 run defeat against Oman.
