Third of millennials will host a teetotal Christmas

More millennials this year are embracing mindfulness and are saying no to alcohol for the end of the year festivities. This year, they will serve non-alcoholic beverages to their guests, let’s find out why.

More studies in the UK are finding out that adult drinking during the festive period is slowly declining with a 6% drop in alcohol intake compared to last year’s Christmas parties. The reasons given are that on average 1 out of 4 guests are choosing simply not to drink during the parties while 23% need to drive after dinner and 20% would prefer an alternative to alcohol during the holidays.

This year guests will be served soft drinks, tea and coffee during the Christmas dinner and trends studies also observe a decline in meat intake. This year will bring new traditions for millennials and we are here for it!
